The Jazz Society of Oregon is proud to offer support for students of Jazz.
The JSO awards scholarships and tuition to encourage serious students
of jazz to pursue their jazz studies. Awards are offered for private
and group instruction, workshops, and master class participation.
To be eligible applicants must be in middle or high school and reside in Oregon or Clark County, Washington.
Applications will be reviewed by the Education Committee and awarded on

instrumental or vocal jazz or theory, composition and arranging of
jazz.
Typical awards range from $100 to $500
and are granted annually.
Winners and their groups may be invited to perform at JSO Board meetings or festivals to celebrate their talents.
