existing

not knowing
that
real love frees you
it breaks
the bonds of selfishness
the tenor
within the litheness
of her voice
enlarges
the lonely aches
modifying
the song
without distorting
it
connecting
to the melody
and
keeping
 it fresh
all the while
intoning
“You Don’t Know What Love Is’”
